About the author

Motivated by her desires to learn new things, help others succeed, and leave every room a little tidier and pleasanter than she found it, Michelle has spent her career in a variety of leadership roles in aerospace and manufacturing. She has led operational transformations, corporate and product strategies, merger execution, and proudly advised her 13-year-old daughter, Nadya, in launching her own business. She is a co-founder and director of The Quotient; a non-profit that supports women-owned businesses in her home base in Dayton, Ohio.

Throughout her life and career, Michelle has never ceased to be surprised, confounded, and often amused by the unique and absurd experiences of underrepresented groups in the workplace. She thought it would be worthwhile to share some of these stories with you. Here they are.
